In our Dutch partner school today…

Mrs Sims and Mrs Morris enjoyed learning with our Dutch colleagues today.  They were very impressed with RK Basisschool Bernardus in Saasveld, Overijsseschool.

Mrs Sims wrote:

‘Had a good day in the school. The school itself is on two sites. We were based in one today and the other on Wednesday. Lovely school, much like ours very calm and quiet, children very polite and friendly. You would love it! They have just introduced Steven Covey’s concept of the seven habits; all about the children taking responsibility for themselves, their learning and their goals, being happy, taking control. It’s really interesting. The school is part of something called ‘The leader in me’ which is linked in with the seven habits. We have learnt a lot today.’
